The Salon Cambridge

Established in 2015 by Paul Davis, this stunning independent salon is situated on the fringes of

Cambridge’s historic town centre and is known to be the smallest salon in the country. Recently

renovated, the building has been transformed to create a light, contemporary, sleek, and stylish

boutique salon. The salon has been fully renovated floor to ceiling, with industrial piped sections and

towel rails, tolix industrial vintage seats, stunning silver framed mirrors, and a living wall - bringing a

touch of uniqueness to the building.

On our doorstep, there is a bistro wine bar, restaurants, picture framing service, architectural

practice, and not to mention several renowned universities that brings with it the bustle of busy

students. All this, and the fact that you are only a ten minute walk from the town centre.

We pride ourselves on being innovative and creative and aspire to always offer a level of customer

service to exceed our customers’ expectations. Our experienced and forward thinking salon owner is

classically trained and uses this foundation to create cutting-edge hairstyles by mixing classic cutting

techniques with modern ideas to bring industry-leading hair care to Cambridge.

    Paul provides excellent, professional hairstyles with what may be some challenging hair! He adapts to all ages.

    The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. He provides a considerate service, and the bonus is that he is a great conversationalist.

    Fantastic salon, been many times (myself and my young boys) and always impressed. Paul offers a very personal service. Booking online is very easy. Tea and coffee and great choice of music while you have a haircut. Thank you Paul.

    Quite simply the best place I've ever had my hair cut in my entire life. Paul, the Salon owner, is not only a very talented hairdresser, but also a fantastically friendly bloke who always shows an interest in what you have to say and remembers even the tiniest detail come your next visit. The salon is amazing considering it's small size; it has everything you need and you never feel cramped and the selection of products is always varied. From the wonderful artwork on the wall, to the beautiful cup of coffee, this salon, as the name suggests, is quite simply 'The' Salon in Cambridge.

    Extremely high standard of hairdressing - the best I have ever experienced. Nothing is too much trouble: Paul is meticulous over every detail. He is also wonderfully pleasant and friendly, so whereas I used to dread having my hair cut, now the whole experience is a delight.

    The Salon Cambridge is a one off, its completely unique, there's really no other salon like it. The owner, who is also the sole hairdresser is really friendly and makes you feel at ease straight way. His skills are fantastic too, especially his colouring technique. An absolute regular and would throughly recommend this hair salon to anyone, whether they live locally or are simply passing through. The Salon Cambridge has my vote, time and time again.
