The Salon Cambridge

Established in 2015 by Paul Davis, this stunning independent salon is situated on the fringes of

Cambridge’s historic town centre and is known to be the smallest salon in the country. Recently

renovated, the building has been transformed to create a light, contemporary, sleek, and stylish

boutique salon. The salon has been fully renovated floor to ceiling, with industrial piped sections and

towel rails, tolix industrial vintage seats, stunning silver framed mirrors, and a living wall - bringing a

touch of uniqueness to the building.

On our doorstep, there is a bistro wine bar, restaurants, picture framing service, architectural

practice, and not to mention several renowned universities that brings with it the bustle of busy

students. All this, and the fact that you are only a ten minute walk from the town centre.

We pride ourselves on being innovative and creative and aspire to always offer a level of customer

service to exceed our customers’ expectations. Our experienced and forward thinking salon owner is

classically trained and uses this foundation to create cutting-edge hairstyles by mixing classic cutting

techniques with modern ideas to bring industry-leading hair care to Cambridge.

    I've been a regular for almost a year now, and the service provided by Paul is unparalleled. Paul is an experienced, skilled and incredibly friendly hairdresser who will always go the extra mile to make his valued customers feel comfortable and at home in his salon.

    His dedication to getting the cut exactly right for his customer is shown by how he truly listens to everything the customer has to say - so that a trip to the hairdressers' is no longer a stressful ordeal, but rather a like a collaborative project between the customer and the expert. I've never come away disappointed with my cut.

    Would highly recommend, there is no other place like it!

    Paul is always welcoming, chatty and attentive. He makes sure he knows what you are expecting from your visit and gives great advice on all hair cutting and colouring. He even remembers the names of your children and partners!!

    I always feel totally relaxed during and after my visit and feel very happy with the result.

    They always say great things come in small packages and even though Paul works in a small space he delivers on every level.

    As always, Paul is careful to check exactly what I want, then cuts with care and flair. His company is lively and fun. I've never had a bad cut or a dull experience in The Salon. And I've watched him cut other peoples' hair with skill and sensitivity, and seen the clients smiling at the result, with amazed and happy.
