The needles penetrate the skin, the tattoo gun penetrates the 7 layers of skin and the coloured ink rests in the dermis layer of your skin. This is the process that forms the tattoo on your skin.
It is extremely important to care for your tattoo after it has been completed, aftercare includes keeping cling film on it for a day and moisturising it regularly.
