Stuart is married with 3 teenage children. He has been practicing and teaching martial arts for over 25 years and is currently a 4th degree black belt with the World Seido Karate Organisation. He runs a club in Tylers Green for adults and children, has a programme for young people with special needs and teaches Karate at a number of local schools during term time.
Stuart has a Level 3 membership of the internationally recognised Register of Exercise Professionals and has qualifications in Anatomy, Physiology and Sports Massage. He regularly attends training courses and workshops to further extend and improve his broad range of skills. He is first aid qualified and has CRB clearance specifically for teaching young persons.
Stuart trains regularly himself and has taken part in numerous tournaments both here and abroad. He enjoys running and cycling and has taken part in various events such as the Grizzly Challenge in South Devon and cycling the Ridgeway.
