Wedding Hair and Makeup London

I started my career in the hair and makeup industry through achieving my professional qualifications 15 years ago at the Isa Carstens Institution and the Parow College in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. Having qualified as a professional hair stylist and makeup artist, I gained industry experience working as a stylist in South Africa and entering (and winning) many regional hair and makeup competitions in order to compete and benchmark myself against the very best in the industry.

In 2000 I decided to take the next step and open my own hair and beauty spa in Stellenbosch which I managed for 4 years. In 2004 I made the decision to add international experience to my CV and sold my business to travel the world working as a professional stylist in countries ranging from Sydney, Australia to the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean to Qatar in the Middle East. My area of focus and expertise throughout my international work has been wedding hair and makeup. Working as a stylist throughout the world has given me invaluable experience of hair and makeup across nationalities.

After gaining international experience, I moved to the UK where I now live with my husband in South West London. I followed my passion for hair and makeup and decided to launch the Wedding Hair and Makeup London business, something I always dreamed of doing. I truly love working with brides to perfect their wedding hair and makeup for such a special day. Each bride is different and I get so much satisfaction from listening to the wishes of every client and preparing their wedding hair and makeup to create a bespoke look that makes them feel special on their big day.
