Get Into Shape£0.00When meeting a client consultation, most say that they want to get back into shape. They are stating the obvious, at some point in their lives they have felt happy, good with their fitness level and physique. But there has been something that has changed that has left them feeling both unsure about how to get back into shape and down about their current situation. This can happen over a period of time of bad habits, but usually happens due to a life event.

Weight Loss£0.00When I first speak to my clients about what they are looking to achieve with personal training, the first answer that I normally hear is to lose weight. In many ways this tends to be the easiest problem that can be resolved as there is not great mystery to it. It is all about burning more calories that you would consume. Although this is true, it isn't that easy otherwise the 25% of the population would not be overweight. The answer lies within getting the right balance of what, and how much you eat and exercise that you do. I do not believe that you should strive for perfect and healthy diet. Life is here to be enjoyed. So be sure to enjoy the food and drinks that you love, just in moderation. If you know that you are eating the wrong things, then identify your weaknesses and then commit to changing them. You do not have to cut things out completely, but simply set a realistic and acceptable level for weekly consumption.

Nutrition£0.00Committing to an exercise programme is a great place to begin due to making any type of changes to what you drink or eat; significant weight loss, and improvement in your general well-being and a reduced risk of illnesses such as cancer and heart disease can be achievable. Although, combining exercise with positive changes to your diet will increase the speed of change and make long term results greater. A healthy diet should also include a variety of foods to help provide the body with the minerals and vitamins that it needs.
