Sol's Barbers and our Hot Towel Shave

The art of the hot towel shave is certainly making a come back in modern times and not because men have all of a sudden forgot how to shave it's really just a little me time for us guy's, to sit in a barbers chair and recline back in it's self is relaxing enough but then to have a hot steaming towel wrapped around your face is sheer indulgence, you kind of switch off for that minute and forget where you are.

A shave at Sol's Barbers takes 30 mins and is priced at £13

Here's what you get

1) A facial scrub to clear the skin of grease, grime and to prepare for the blade .

2) First hot towel wrapped around your face to open the pores and relax the skin

3) Second hot towel to really get your skin going

4) Prep the skin with Proraso pre-shave cream, what this does is provide a protective barrier between skin and blade preventing razor burn.

5) Lather up with Proraso soap which contains Menthol and Eucalyptus, cooling and refreshing.

6) Begin the first passing of the blade around your beard.

7) Lather up again for the second passing

8) Apply a cool towel around the face to close the pores and cool your skin down.

9) Finally apply Proraso after shave balm, massaging all around your face for a at least a minute to bring you back to your senses.
