Nu Hair & Beauty

Nu Hair was born as a locally owned and staffed salon.

I was brought up in Hitchin and was fascinated by hair and its styling possibilities from early childhood. I studied hairdressing at North Herts College and graduated with NVQ level 3. My practical experience was in a salon in Melbourne, Australia.

It was a busy and fast paced environment in which I gained a lot of experience but I longed to work in an atmosphere where I could take my time with clients and give each individual a tailored service. I then learnt of an opportunity to open a salon in Hitchin and to put my ideas of the ideal beauty experience into practice. I hope that you will allow me to show you what I mean by that ethos and aspiration.
