Gavin McColl is the founder of Motiv8 Personal Training Altrincham, bringing Personal Training and home training to the South Manchester, Heaton Moor and Altrincham area.

Gavin started in the fitness industry as a PTI ( Physical Training Instructor ) in the Army in 2000. With three years experience working as a PTI in the Army Gavin decided to further his career in civilian street back home in Manchester. Gavin qualified as a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist obtaining a Premier Diploma in 2003.

Over the past eleven years as well as Personal Training, Gavin has been working as a Fitness Manager and Operations Manger for a large health club, and later major national fitness organisation. Whilst developing his managerial skills Gavin has been Personal Training and instructing military fitness classes to large groups in local parks. He has also qualified as an instructor in a number of disciplines Boxercise, Core Stability, Spin and FA Level 1 & 2 Football Coach.
