      At Matt Roberts Personal Training, you will benefit from dedicated one-to-one sessions, creating a unique dynamic with your personal trainer and allowing you to focus on one thing - your results. We'll conduct an initial physical analysis to create a regime specifically tailored for you, taking into account current fitness, potential injuries, limitations and nutrition. You will then be guided through an entire programme of health and fitness development, which includes your training inside and outside the gym, your diet and your lifestyle, complemented by our outstanding support services. Personal training at Matt Roberts integrates a wide range of disciplines and methods to keep both body and mind challenged in a variety of ways. This includes options such as strength, mobility and stretching sessions, cardiovascular exercise and sports performance. You can choose to purchase sessions, packages or pay monthly (no membership fee) and, while we recommend you commit to at least three sessions a week, we're realistic about how day-to-day demands can impact on your schedule.

      Taking the time to ease the body and mind is important, especially in a city as fast paced as London. Yoga is the ideal discipline for new and existing clients to complement their hectic lifestyle and current training regime. Media favourites, Yogasphere, run regular one hour Vinyasa Yoga sessions for up to 20 clients at Matt Roberts Personal Training. Through different techniques and poses practiced in the discipline of Vinyasa Yoga , you can cultivate your strength and flexibility whilst relieving areas of tightness and aiding relaxation. Whilst complimenting it with an exploration into more conscious pranayama (breathwork) and meditation techniques to de-stress the mind, body and soul.

      Founder Joseph Pilates was fond of quoting the German poet and philosopher Friedrich Schiller: ‘It is the mind itself which builds the body.’ We believe Pilates acts as the ideal complement to other, more robust exercise routines. It allows you to focus both your mind and body, while promoting correct posture and breathing and enhancing mobility and stability. Alan Herdman Pilates is offered at our Hampstead club in a private, fully equipped studio by trained Alan Herdman instructors. Classes are held individually or small group sessions. Regardless of where you chose to visit, you can mix Pilates with personal training, opt for one-off sessions or book a full course. Pilates services are available at our other clubs for clients wishing to incorporate it into their training or as part of a clinical rehabilitation programme.
