Makeup Artist Zehra

Zehra originally started out watching her mother and women of the family applying various colours of lipsticks, bronzer and liquid eye liner on a daily basis. Fascinated with the dedication women applied their make up became a great obsession. She’d stare into the mirror as her aunts applied the perfect liquid eye liner, watching and mimicking their every stroke. Her mothers Arabian bronzing pearls, lit up her face and added an angelic glow. Zehra wanted to learn it all.

Starting out at an early age, Zehra began experimenting on her own face. Perfecting liquid eye liner was the hardest task. Even till this day she is asked ‘How do you get your eye liner so perfect?’ the answer is simply ‘Practise’. She began her first course at the Media, Film and TV college, studying Photographic Make up and was amazed with all the techniques which magically could transform a face. After successfully completing the course Zehra was still thirsty for more knowledge, so she completed the Asian Bridal Hair and Make up course. Here she learnt more in depth details of different brushes and techniques, especially for Asian Brides requiring elegant yet all the glitz and glamorous styles of Bollywood.
