Lisa Makeup and Hair

Lisa Domeisen is a highly trained, professional make up artist and hairdresser who has worked for many years in the TV and film industry. She was worked on many Drama productions, including an Oscar nominated film and many famous celebrity faces.

She is now bringing her expertise to brides and has set up a business to help brides have the best possible start to their day with immaculate make up and hair.

Her aim is to make the bride and bridesmaids beautiful, and the make up is much more technical than for example what a beautician or a novice make up artist can offer. She also lectures on technical makeup at local colleges and for interested groups, and is one of the tutors at The Biz Media Make Up and Hair Academy in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

Lisa uses a range of professional, quality products such as Clinique, MAC, Artistry and Chanel, and has broad experience of working on black, Asian and mature skins/rosacea and scars. In regards to hairdressing she is very experienced in cutting and styling, including up do's, creating volume and adding hairpieces if required. She will also undertake make up lessons/proms/hen nights and mobile haircutting and styling in the local area.

Many new clients come to her as recommendations from previous clients and she still works on films from time to time, so pre booking is essential. It is usually helpful to have a trial run before the wedding, to play about with ideas and colours, and obviously make sure the bride to be is happy with the make up and hair itself.
