Jade Thorley Wedding Make-up
Jade is a successful and accomplished northwest based make-up artist, hair stylist and stylist. Jade started her creative training at Manchester Metropolitan University. After completing a degree in fashion and textiles where she specialised in conceptual clothing and fibre arts, Jade then went onto train in media make-up and hair for a further year to complement her passion for styling. There is a distinctive style and attention to detail that Jade’s work portrays with excellent technical ability as well as a beautiful colour palette, use of textures and media. With this background Jade is able to produce her own garments and props which are complementary and bring a more theatrical and unique quality to her work. Several years later Jade joined the MAC brand where she continually develops her creative and artistic talent through regular and current training, a must for such a fast pace and ever changing industry.
Jade has been working as a freelance artist with well-established and respected photographers including Sandi Hodkinson, Tracey Gibbs, Jay Mawson, Jonathan Oakes, Ben Spriggs, Paul Moffat, Paul Jones and Simon Leech amongst many others, producing works featured in Sky News Magazine, Vintage Rose Bridalwear, The Chocolate, Quality Street, The Museum of Natural History and Littlewoods are just a few to mention. Furthermore Jade has also worked with numerous production companies including Onward productions, The Mob, Channel 4 for Hollyoaks Promo’s, Centini productions and Bakermedia producing work for the BBC children’s series Prank Patrol and numerous advertising campaigns including Oxy Clear Skin, Castrol Oil and Greggs.
