Galleria was founded in 1990 in the heart of Ealing Broadway. Our founder ‘Luigi (Gino) Gerace’ grew up in a small town in the south of Italy. His family worked with major designer labels such as Armani and Versace, amongst many others.Gino left home at the age of 16 to explore the world and put his own ideas to use. His travels took him from the USA to North Africa to France and then he finally decided to settle in London 6 years later, setting himself a challenge to make it in such a busy and work oriented city.Gino worked in many major hair salons to gain experience and to learn more about the different cultures of people around him. After 11 years of seeing and working at different places, he believed it was time to put his own ideas in to practice. This is when he opened his unique and charming salon ‘Galleria’, albeit at a very unfortunate time of recession for the UK, but made it through, and now is in well over the 20th year of business.

We now specialise in Organic colouring based on yogurt, our colourants contain herbal extracts and essential oils.

Gino has employed and trained staff from many different cultural backgrounds to create a welcoming multi-cultural atmosphere. A strong belief that has brought more creativity and a touch of class to expressing styles from all around the world.
