Emma Dowdell Make-Up Artist

Since a young age, like most young girls, I always liked to dress up and experiment with makeup. Thats where the passion started.

I love movies and the theatre so chose to pursue my career with a 2 year training course at Brushstroke Makeup Academy, based at Pinewood and Shepperton Studios.

I am qualified with an ITEC Diploma in TV, Film, Fashion, Theatre, Natural/Wedding, Prosthetics, Hair cutting/styling, Wig making/dressing, Nails and Hair extensions. I am also qualified in Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions

I have gained work experience at Les Miserable, Dirty Dancing and War Horse in London’s West End. I have also taken part at Mahogony Hair Studio in London to take part in a photo shoot to promote the salon.
