    • Champissage (Indian Head Massage)
      45 mins
      £30.00
Indian Head Massage, also known as Champissage (the traditional Hindi term), this wonderful balancing treatment is based on ancient Ayurvedic techniques, the Indian head massage is a fantastic treatment for balancing the chakras of the body and encouraging healthy hair growth. Ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional Indian medicine dating back to the 3rd century AD. In a champissage session the head, face, neck and shoulders are massaged with the purpose of manipulating energy to clear blockages in the energy channels of the body (known as the chakras) It is believed that when the energy channels of the body are blocked the negative energy can cause ailments and illness. A variety of massage movements are used to relieve tension, stimulate circulation and restore the energy flow throughout the body. Massage can be carried out over clothes, with or without oils dependent on what you want. We start with a gentle inhalation exercise to balance the chakras before continuing on with the massage.
    • Body Scrub
      1 hr
      £30.00
A luxurious body scrub to remove excess debris from the surface of the skin; dead skin cells and dirt melt away to leave the skin soft and smooth. Combine with a massage afterward for the maximum benefit and smooth, soft skin! Going on holiday? A scrub is great before tanning the skin, and is guaranteed to make your tan last longer. For a more intensive treatment why not try an AHA body wash? Using gentle citric acids to melt away the excessive debris on the top layer of the skin, perfect for those who have very sensitive skin or who do not like the 'scrubbing' action in a grainy scrub. Worried about cellulite? Then we have the solution for you! A vigorous caffeine scrub, using ground up coffee beans clears away the dead cells on the surface of the skin, and when applied topically the caffeine and anti oxidants found in coffee work to tighten and energize the skin whilst promoting circulation, giving it the ability to smooth out skin and reduce cellulite. As Caffeine also dilate the blood vessels it has also been known to reduce varicose veins! Please note that this is proven to work but is NOT a miracle cure, and will require repeated sessions! We are also able to offer a scrub using honey rather than oil. Honey is a natural anti-inflammatory and purifying agent, and moisturizes and softens the skin. All of my body scrubs are hand made, and therefore I am able to tailor the treatment to your needs, ensuring a bespoke session every time!
    • Swedish Body Massage
      1 hr
      £35.00
Swedish Full Body Massage is also commonly referred to as a Classic or Traditional Massage and is the most common form of full body massage treatment. Treatments can last between one or two hours and can include parts or the body as a whole. A Swedish massage can be tailored to fit your needs; it can be as deep or as light as you like, and we can use essential oils if you wish to create an aromamassage (not quite aromatherapy, but still working with the sense of smell during the session) Why have a Swedish Massage? A Swedish Full Body Massage employs effleurage (long, gliding stokes) accompanied by petrissage (kneading), friction (cross fiber) and vibration/shaking to benefit the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, lymphatic and nervous systems. The functions of the skin, respiratory system, digestive system and the urinary tract will also be improved. Indeed a Swedish Full Body Massage offers a whole range of physiological and psychological benefits and is the perfect way to treat physical aches and pains and increase feelings of deep relaxation and inner happiness.
    • Deep Tissue Massage
      1 hr 30 mins
      £50.00
You ache; your muscles are tight, tense and knotted up; You need a deeper massage to sort out those underlying muscular problems - This is the type of massage you need. Great for deep and persistent muscular aches and pains, and perfect for all you gym junkies and sports lovers. Deep tissue massage works layer by layer through connective tissue and muscles down to the deepest accessible layers to change posture and create freedom of movement. It is worth mentioning that Deep tissue massage is not for relaxation, and should not be booked for a relaxing session. Some elements of the massage can be a little on the painful side, and may still be felt up to 48 hours after treatment, however will do the muscles the world of good in the longer term. During a deep tissue session I use my thumbs, forearms, fsits and elbows to stretch each muscle and fascia layer by layer. For best results a deep tissue massage is best booked as a 90 minute session for the whole body.

    • Hopi Ear Candles
      30 mins
      £10.00
Hopi ear candling is an ancient and natural therapy that has been handed down through many civilsations. Ancient Greeks used ear candles, however the treatment as it is now known was bought to the modern world via native American Hopi indians where they were traditionally used by shamen healers. Hopi Ear Candling (also known Thermal Auricular Therapy) is a pleasant and non-invasive treatment of the ears, it is used to offer real and calming benefits for many problems and conditions associated with the ear, nose and throat areas. A Hopi ear candle treatment is a deeply relaxing, calming and soothing experience. Hopi ear candling has been known to offer relief from headaches, compacted ear wax, stress, sore throats and tinnitus (to name but a few!). It is also a deeply relaxing therapy, and would provide the perfect end to any relaxing package. Hopi Ear Candling is not a cure for any disease or ailment, however regular treatments may be considered an important adjunctive therapy to help you stimulate lymphatic system and blood flow.
