Bernie is a real professional giving a great quality service. He is friendly, welcoming and more than generous with his time. He listens and responds to the needs of the client. The massages leave you physically relaxed and refreshed. I have known him for some time and cannot recommend him highly enough...a great guy.

This man is very strong. If you have muscle problems with a sore back, go to him for a really firm massage.

Bernie is friendly, welcoming and professional. He ensures that you are comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole massage, checking with you that he pressure is not too much or is just right. He creates a warm, relaxing ambience with soft lighting, soothing music and scented oils... you feel energised and refreshed.

Mr C gave a very deep strong massage which really moved the lactic acid out of my major muscle groups especially my legs back and shoulders. He is the best masseur I ever have hired. He is very strong. But it isn't just that. His intelligent technique puts him in a class of his own. I went to him for a period of five years and he always gave a thorough deep tissue massage. I had back problems. He always used to say I could take what he called 'an amazing amount of punishment'. The venue was always airy and clean. Wherever he worked smelt fresh and inviting. I saw him in 5 different venues. He always smelt fresh and clean too which is good for such a huge man. Because he is excellent he is very very busy. That has consequences. He often had to change appointment times. Twice he changed the day of our appointment as he juggled the requirements of different clients and as other appointments over ran. He almost always kept you informed. Several times he arrived breathless. He'd clearly forgotten I was booked. Keep confirming with him on his own mobile and not through any receptionist or third party. Then you should be fine. He was then and I am sure is still now much in demand because he is very good. He is well worth the trouble. I saw him over 70 times in five years. He only kept me waiting at the venue three times or four times. From the day I met him until the day I last saw him he was coaching me on nutrition and exercise as he was then also a personal trainer. 'There are no better people in all the world than Yorkshire people for telling you your shortcomings' as Bill Bryson says in his great work Notes From A Small Island. Although Mr C is not from Yorkshire he has lived there now for over 10 years on and off I understand. He has certainly adopted the Yorkshire way. Put up with the odd missed appointment because he is more than worth the trouble. He is the best masseur I ve ever found. I wish I was still one of his clients. He sacked me as a client, ironically for allegedly missing an appointment.

Bernie is a qualified professional who listens to his clients and matches their needs - he is warm, friendly and has a great sense of humour.
