Acrylic Nails in Nails

What are acrylic nails?

Acrylic nails are much more robust than gel nails, they are formed of a tougher material which means that they do not chip, and there is not much of a chance of them coming off easily. Acrylic nails can be painted, or alternatively you could opt for the classic French manicure. Acrylic nails look far more natural than your typical shop bought artificial nails.

How are acrylic nails done?

Firstly your nails will be trimmed, shaped and tips will be applied. The nail technician then mixes a powder with a liquid and will apply to your nails, this is repeated until the tip merges in with the acrylic mixture that has been brushed on to your nails. The acrylic nails are then painted to a colour of your choice. You will need to have your acrylic nails filled in every 3 - 4 weeks to ensure that they are kept on top of, if this is not done then a gap will form where your real nail starts to grow.
