Victoria Sponge

Victoria Forward has had a cake decorating business for nearly 9 years and has been teaching for more than 5 years. Established in Hampshire in 2006 as Let Them Eat Cake, Victoria moved to Sydney in 2012 and spent 2 years teaching and learning new skills in Australia (one of the leading countries for cake decorating techniques) before relocating to Buckingham and launching her new business ,Victoria Sponge, in May 2014. She provides celebration cakes for all events and also classes and workshops, including cupcakes and large cakes, buttercream techniques, sugar flowers and modelling. She holds an ABC Examination Board Diploma in Sugarcraft and an NCFE certificate for Teaching, Training and Facilitating.

Victoria has made the final of the UK National Cupcake Championships with each of her 4 entries over the past 5 years, and in 2011 she was awarded the top prize in the “Best Presented Cupcake” category with her piped buttercream rose cupcake bouquet.

Victoria also writes for “Cake Wire”, a website directed to home cake makers across the UK and published by British Baker Magazine.
