The Salon Cambridge
Established in 2015 by Paul Davis, this stunning independent salon is situated on the fringes of
Cambridge’s historic town centre and is known to be the smallest salon in the country. Recently
renovated, the building has been transformed to create a light, contemporary, sleek, and stylish
boutique salon. The salon has been fully renovated floor to ceiling, with industrial piped sections and
towel rails, tolix industrial vintage seats, stunning silver framed mirrors, and a living wall - bringing a
touch of uniqueness to the building.
On our doorstep, there is a bistro wine bar, restaurants, picture framing service, architectural
practice, and not to mention several renowned universities that brings with it the bustle of busy
students. All this, and the fact that you are only a ten minute walk from the town centre.
We pride ourselves on being innovative and creative and aspire to always offer a level of customer
service to exceed our customers’ expectations. Our experienced and forward thinking salon owner is
classically trained and uses this foundation to create cutting-edge hairstyles by mixing classic cutting
techniques with modern ideas to bring industry-leading hair care to Cambridge.

10th March 2017Paul created a new haircut for me, and I am getting many positive comments - some from strangers! The salon is very comfortable and friendly, I usually visit with my young son who also receives a great haircut, with no trouble. An excellent salon.

23rd March 2017What a great spot! I was visiting Cambridge from across the pond and my son booked me in at The Salon Cambridge. Highlights, cut and blow dry. I had such a great experience, and am thrilled with the outcome. Paul's passion for what he does is evident, and he is extremely reassuring. I can confidently say that I now have a salon across the pond I will no doubt visit again.

22nd February 2017Paul at The Salon Cambridge gives the best haircuts. My hair grows very quickly and each time I visit the salon I walk in feeling gloomy, but always walk out feeling and looking great. I watch as he cuts and snips and trims, and rolls back on his stool to guage the cut from different angles. It's like watching a masterclass. He is always good-humoured and funny and he listens.
I love the little salon. It's so bijoux, but yet it has everything, including a heap of character and great location. I don't have to battle my way into the Lion Yard or Park Street (if I don't want to!), I can simply park across the road or around the corner, and yet it's only a stone's throw from the centre of Cambridge. Definitely recommend both Paul and The Salon.
