Being Creative Is In My DNA. I am a professional make-up artist and hairstylist with 18 years of industry experience. Following graduation with a B.A hons in ‘Make-Up For The Performing Arts’ from the London College of Fashion in 1999, I gained an NVQ 2 in hairdressing. I run my own independent bridal make-up and hairstyling business, combined with freelance work for a variety of clients including KFC and COTY brand (an iconic portfolio including OPI, Calvin Klein, Rimmel, Philosophy, Chloe and Mark Jacobs). In addition, I have a strong background in education – having taught theatrical, media, special effects, fashion and photographic make-up to hundreds of students at the V&A museum, London College of Beauty Therapy and London College of Fashion.

Career Highlights: Credits include working on This Morning ‘ITV’, The Brit Awards, Whirlpool ‘pinewood studios’, Drop The Dead Donkey, ‘Hat Trick Productions’, Apes and Music ‘Channel 4 Talk Back Productions’, The National Theatre ‘Cherry Orchard’, The Royal Opera House ‘Kirov Ballet. Fashion work includes Jalouse magazine with publications in AXM and Girl About Town magazine. I have worked with the following artists leading the make-up on the following music videos – Ultra beat ‘Pretty Green Eyes’ Roots Manouva, ‘Dreamy Days’ and Jamelia ‘Money’.

My Mission Statement: “ Showing a passion for art and hairstyling in childhood, it was inevitable that I would have a career in the creative field. This is where the diversity of the makeup industry pulled me in. A real people person, what I love about my work is the immediate gratification of how I change a clients perception of themselves showcasing their transformation.”

      Bridal Hair and Make-Up In preparation for your special day, a trial make-up session gives you and I the opportunity to discuss exactly how you want to look. I provide both a bridal hair and make-up service for the bride, bridesmaids and mums. I am able to do either hair and make-up, or both, as required. View prices. I use the following high-end products: MAC, Bobbi Brown, Nars, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, giving you valuable advice on what products to top-up your make-up with, on the day. I also give you tips on preparing your hair and skin for the day. Trial Session I will come to your home. I predominately cover Central London, Surrey and Greater London areas, however I am happy to travel to other destinations. The session, which lasts a maximum of five hours, will give us time to discuss your hair and make-up requirements and how this will work with your dress, bridesmaids’ outfits, flowers etc. Your headdress, whether it is a tiara, veil, etc., will be taken into consideration when styling your hair. Wedding Day After the trial an appointment schedule is drawn up for larger bookings. I arrive at the venue, or your home, at the pre-agreed time. Mums, bridesmaids and the bride’s hair and make-up is styled, followed with hair and make-up touch ups at the end, to ensure you all look perfect.

    Thank you Sarah for providing me with a wonderful service on 1st September 2012. My pre-wedding appointment with you gave me some good ideas of what would work on the day and your own recommendations were really helpful and inspired me to have great confidence in you. This was essential to me on probably the most important day of my life.

    I loved how you interpreted my requirements on the big day and made getting ready a joy instead of a time filled with stress. I felt as though I had met up with an old friend as we got on so well.

    The result was just as I imagined it to be. All the ladies were asking who did my make up and hair, and I was glad to give your details. I would be glad to recommend you for anyone needing hair and makeup for any occasion.

    I have used Sarah as a makeup artist and hair stylist a number of times due to her professionalism, adventure and creativity. Sarah listens and is always mindful of her clients needs, she offers ideas whilst giving her clients the look they endeavour, and in doing so providing a very fabulous and unique look. Each time I’ve used Sarah’s services I have always been complimented on the thoroughness and wow factor she has created. Along with this she has wonderful personality and is honest and open to ideas, she talks through the look she will give and due to her fabulous creativity skills always makes you feel exquisite. I would thoroughly recommend Sarah.
