North Star Pilates

Premier Pilates Studio located in the heart of Wakefield City Centre. We offer Pilates classes, private tuition and Barre Classes.

We offer STOTT PILATES, a premier brand of Pilates worldwide. All instructors are certified and fully trained in this method. We are committed to delivering the very best tuition suitable to the needs of our clients.

Pilates helps to improve posture, relieve pain, balance muscles, increase Core strength. Regardless of fitness levels Pilates can assist to rehabilitate injuries and relieve back pain.

      Pilates Matwork Level 2 Improver/Intermediate - Essential & Immediate repertoire. Once essential repertoires have been mastered and strength and stability have been gained you will be further challenged by introducing intermediate repertoire and an increase in pace in the class. Max 6 people.

      Pilates Matwork Level 3 Advanced - Intermediate and Advanced Repertoire. A fast paced class for those that have a good understanding if the intermediate repertoire and wish to further challenge their strength and endurance.

      Equipment Class Equipment classes are performed using a variety of specialised Pilates apparatus. The apparatus is based on spring resistance which supports, encourages & challenges the use of the body's own resistance. Suitable for all levels of ability. Incorporates the STOTT Pilates Reformer & V2 Max vertical Cadillac frame, Pilates chair, variety of barrels and small studio equipment. Max 4 people.

      Pre/Post Natal Pilates A specific class if you are pregnant or recovering from your pregnancy. Practicing Pilates during your pregnancy, will keep you strong and prepared for the birth, and aid recovery.
