Blog > Last Minute Father's Day Marketing Tips

Published 12th June 2018

It’s Father’s Day this weekend (don’t worry, this isn’t your reminder to buy your old man a card), but it is a warning that it is time to pull out the last minute marketing ideas for those who haven’t been as organised.

Your first point of call is the ladies that come into your salon regularly. Do you know they have children? Do you know their children are likely to have forgotten or are too young to buy gifts themselves? Whilst your client is in their appointment, let them know about any offers you have for Father’s Day, whether that’s a manicure and beer package, or a deep tissue massage because they’ve been doing manly things like, I don’t know, lifting heavy things at work?

We are all about men embracing their inner pampering-God here at PamperPad, however not all men are comfortable with that, so rename some of your treatments that make them sound less like beauty treatments. Think Manpering instead of pampering. MANicures, BRO-tox, you get the idea.

Spread the word. Like some of us here at PamperPad, people may completely forget that fathers day is coming up until the ad pops up on facebook from a brand reminding us it’s this weekend. So, it’s time to dust off your facebook page (reading our tips here) and start reminding people in the area that they can book appointments and buy vouchers for their baby-daddies, or their own fathers. It’s even better if you can offer a service where your clients can buy vouchers online, and then you can email them a fancy personalised voucher to print out.

For high engagement offer a competition for customers to win their father’s day gift for their loved ones. A good way to do this is to ask your followers to share pictures with their dads and say why they should win, and then offer the winner(s) either a beer and pampering package or a father and child pampering day.
