Provides an independent system of regulation to ensure that individuals working in the spa industry meet agreed National Occupational Standards (NOS), which describe the knowledge, competence and skills of good practice.

- Recognises the expertise and qualifications of individuals

- Recognises an individual's ability and experience level

- Offers assurance to consumers and employers that all registered spa professionals are appropriately qualified and have the competence to perform their specific roles.

Habia, the government approved standards setting body for hair, beauty, nails and spa, has launched the first ever professional register for the spa industry.
